JEHON'S REFORM

I got an idea. Not easy, but I can do it. And he started explaining with full conviction.

It was a short month. Just six months ago. Jehona had just been appointed deputy chairman and director for education in the capital. At our first meeting, he spoke so passionately and with so much faith to an idea, brave, he had.

Kids in our public schools only last four hours. In some schools these four hours are also kept in evening shifts. In all schools, after just four hours, children are released. Their parents need to leave their jobs, take their children, find stewards, leave their children with them. For some parents, mainly mothers, the task was a complete profession; hence, they were very busy. So nothing made sense!

I want to do something radical. And that before September.

Two weeks from today, September 1st, for the first time in their history, the capital's ike schools -- Fyik Konicaı, Jezmail Mustafa '%s', Nazim Gafurri, Green School of Central Batalli -- will be classroom schools 1 to 5 with daily instruction. Three thousand children, 6 thousand parents and 6 thousand families, will find public care for them and everyone!

So many other schools will be added next year. And in our new road political programme, this model will be adopted throughout Kosovo. Because impossible is nothing.
