Central Election Commission has held the next meeting where. One of the first points of the day discussed was the review and approval of the recommendation for limiting the spending of the election campaign, to be held on February 9th of next year.
The director of the Office for Recording, Certificate and Financial Control of Political Subjects, Besnik Buzhala, has announced that under the CEC decision, a political subject will have the right to spend up to 2,047,149 euros.
“Next meeting, The CEC made the decision to limit election campaign spending for political subjects, which will be certified for participation in the Kosovo Assembly Elections. According to the CEC decision, a political subject has the right to spend up to 2,047,149 euros, so no less than a (1) euros for registered voters. This estimate is done based on Electoral Order No. 07/2024 2024 for the Election Field, Election Field Monitoring, and relying on voter preliminary list data, under which the number of voters in our country is 2,047,149 voters”, Buzhala said.
