“You announce that following the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo for continuing the detention measure in the criminal case against defendant I. A, the Constitutional Court in Pristina -- the Special Department with the date of 29.07.2024 -- has received the verdict and validating the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, so that the detention measure of indictees I.A has been continued in length of 2 (two) months”, she has declared.
Otherwise, Abdullah was arrested on July 16th 2023 in Batlava, Podujevo, after a 15-year period on the run.
He is accused of serious murder in co-ordination, for which the event remained killed police official Triumf Riza on August 30th 2007 in Pristina.
