The 74th edition of traditional contests “due to jump over the French Bridge” in Gjakova

Today, the organisation of traditional competitions “The threat on the Church Bridge” in Gjakova has continued.

This event, which is annual in this city, gathered hundreds of participants from different Kosovo countries, where three main awards were shared for jumping out of bridges as well as by dancers, walking style, and tern style.

Dropping off the bridge was 20 meters, already from the 10m jump.

According to organisers, this activity except that it is unique, they say it plays an important role in Kosovo sports.

The event was organised by the Gjakova municipality, as well as for the first country, 600 euros were earmarked for second place 500, meanwhile for the third of 400 euros.

This was the 74th edition of this organisation.
