Mission NATO in Kosovo, KFOR, has held a multinational military exercise titled “Ura is far from”.

This exercise was organised by Hungarian KFOR forces in late July, attended by nearly 500 soldiers, while it was named very complex.
As “Hungarytoday” writes, the exercise was conducted in two locations, with the aim of preparing for security challenges in Kosovo and the integration of the Romanian Negotiation Battalion at the Tactic Reserve Battalion.

It becomes known that the exercise was considered successful, reaching its goals both for preparing for security challenges in Kosovo and for the successful integration of the Romanian battalion, which joined KFOR in July.

Hungarian media wrote that during the exercise, which served as the final test for the readiness of the Romanian team mission, personnel demonstrated its combat capabilities. The exercise included various complex scenarios, such as neighborhood security missions and riot control operations. The inclusion of law enforcement agencies such as EULEX and the Multinational Special Unit (MSU) added the scale and diversity of the exercise.
The bridge issue has been currentised in recent weeks as Kosovo authorities have started conducting inspections on the bridge and have warned of its opening, despite the international factor believing that now is not the right time.
KFOR's mission has warned it will not hesitate to act to respond to security-related developments, and that each decision on the bridge should be made through Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, mediated by dialogue in Brussels.
