A 30-year-old suspected of violence against women, seized weapon and sent to maintenance

Police report that, during the case investigation by the suspect, a six-shot firearm has been seized, then the same has been detained for 48 hours.

Ferizaj station police on the date of 25.08.2024 around 16:45 has received information that on the” road Prizren's” link in Ferizaj is a case of domestic violence.

Order police and Family Violence Unit investigators are immediately headed in that direction and have managed to arrest the person, the Kosovo male, aged 30, who had caused violence against his husband.

During the random investigation by the suspect, a six-round firearm was seized.

All police actions have been reported to the state prosecutor and his decision, following the police investigators' interview, the domestic violence suspect has been detained at 48 hours for other investigative procedures.
