The prosecution in co-ordination with police today has carried out an action in the Pristina region, where five persons among them have been arrested, including an official of the Kosovo Correcting Service, under suspicion that they have committed criminal work “Defeit”.
In this case, the SKK has announced that it has made a decision to suspend the work of the correctional official L. B, due to doubts about improper behavior that conflicts with the Ethics Code and the internal rules of our institution.
This decision has been taken since the same is suspected that, in co-ordination with some others, they are involved in fraud with the aim of illegal profiting wealth.
The Kosovo Correcting Service remains committed to ensuring the integrity and professionalism of its staff, and will not tolerate any form of unacceptable behaviour”, the report said.
The USKK has added that they remain committed to co-operating fully with the relevant authorities and to ensure full transparency on this issue.
