On June 24th, 1826, Thomas Jefferson expressed a wish before his death: that the Declaration of Independence would inspire the rest of the world of “break the chains” and “receive the blessings and security of self-government”. Jefferson passed his life only ten days later, on July 4th the 50th birthday of the nation he helped establish, he wrote Kurti on X.
“Gati 200 years after Jefferson's death, we are still working hard to fulfill his last wish. From voting booths around the world, to the fields of the patriotic battle of Ukraine, let's all continue to do our part in this endless struggle to keep alive the spirit of 76, for ourselves and for generations to come.
