Opposing statements have been given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore (MPJD) and the first secretary at the Kosovo Liaison Office in Serbia, Fatmir Hajoll, in connection with written caution that has been pronounced to him by the ministry.
To KA LLXO.com, MPJD has dismissed Hajoll's written warning reasons to him, claiming that the disciplinary measure has been pronounced by relying on legal and underground acts in power and has resulted after repeating the same violation three times in three months.
“against warnings, meetings and his own pledge, Hajoll has continued to express public statements and attitudes, which have neither been co-ordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo nor had preliminary approval” -- the MPJD response reported.
As a result, the ministry has indicated that the above-mentioned actions conflict with tasks and work responsibilities at the Kosovo Liaison Office in Serbia, as well as with legal and underground acts in power in the Republic of Kosovo.
Otherwise, Hajoll said on Facebook at 04.07.2024 that this was first warned in his professional and institutional experience.
According to him, he has received this remark for continuing reactions and statements “on the protection of public interest, citizens and, above all, in defence of state interest”.
On the other hand, in response to KALLXO. The ministry writes that for his statements, for which he received remarks, in 02.06.2024, Hajoll has been called at a reporting/discreet meeting with Secretary General Ilir Mucaj.
According to the ministry, Hajoll has been cautioned that “such declarations as he is a diplomat of the Republic of Kosovo cannot do in relation to the state of Serbia without co-ordinating and receiving preliminary approval from the MPJD”.
Reference to the ministry's responses, at the same Hajoli meeting has pledged that this approach of communication with the public will be terminated by him.
The ministry says that Hajolli on 03.06.2024 wrote emails, which, among other things, says: “... all media interest in my direction for developments in Serbia, will be conveyed to automatism MPJDs, management and approval”.
However, according to the Ministry, Hajoli has repeated the same things despite warnings.
Moreover, MPJD says Hajoll has been sent full reasoning of the disciplinary measure and he has a 30-day complaint right to the Independent Council for Kosovo Civil Service if he considers violating his rights.
Hajoll said the day before (04.07,2024) that in the absence of an eventual content reasoning, warning of him and accompanying documents/witnesses, his posts, would hold as reference and recommendation, thus not directly complaining.
Besides that, Hajoll has added that as long as in Serbia there is a race of who is more and more strongly promoted against the Republic of Kosovo, without any argument and without any argument, I would logically ask for the MPJD hierarchy, the taskgivers and the Albanianist, where, in which respect, his statements have come against the Office's mandate and with MPJD priorities.
Hajoll had ironicly thanked the MPJD, saying that at least through the remarks he recognized his work, as according to him in a punitive and disfellowshipped culture he would be surprised only by gratitude or recognition.
