After Januzi's defence has called for extending the current deadline and given that Haxhi Shala's defence was not present at the July 12th session, the preliminary procedure judge decided the same day, proprio the motto (with its initiative), to cancel the previous deadline for the surrender of preliminary defence files, which was scheduled for July 15th.
Januzi's “shield has been instructed to submit their request for extending the deadline for handing over their preliminary file by Monday, July 15th 2024, as possible responses by other parties through July 16th. Following Januzi's intention to file a preliminary motion on the new indictment in the latest joint indictment, Judge Masello (Masselot) also cancelled the date for passing the case file to the Judicial Chamber, which was scheduled for July 22nd”, the Special reports.
