From January this year and so far 61 Kosovo doctors have sought confirmations of the departure of employment outside Kosovo.
Low wages, working conditions, and lack of specialisation are said to be the main factors in leaving health workers.
That's what the head of Oda of the Doctors, the Sejdiu Plerat.
Sejdiu argued that one of the main reasons for the doctor's departure is the salary issue.
There are 61 doctors who have deliberately attracted the claims of departure and employment outside Kosovo. The reasons are many, but the main wage and working conditions”, Sejdiu reported to Front Online.
In Kosovo, a doctor's salary under the Law specialist's salary totals 1260 euros gross, while in Germany the same ones are being offered salaries of over 5,000 euros and much more favourable working conditions.
