Secret Discovered: How Bruce Lee died

For over 50 years there have been rumors about Bruce Lee's death. From the first news that he got an edema in the brain because of the pill, the rumor that it was LSD and other drugs, the new theory that simple water was responsible for everything.

In July 1973, Bruce Lee, the most famous martial arts master, was busy with many projects. A year ago the film On the Dragon Path was released, which he wrote, director and acting. He was married to Linda Emery Lee for nine years and had two children, Brandon, then eight years old and Shannon, four.

But on July 20th, he has a headache. He complained about the pain and went to lie down. He never woke up again. They found him unconscious, called an ambulance, but they could not save him. He was 32 years old. News of his death spread rapidly, and many were directed to the hospital where the ambulance sent him. Journalists surrounded Lee's hospital and home. Linda and the children took refuge from Bruce's associates, but she wanted to make sure that he had really disappeared and to see him again.

For over 50 years, it has been debated about what the cause of death really was... In the 1970 ' s, experts claimed that the pills he had taken for headaches were to blame. This means that death gave place to the cerebral edema caused by a reaction to the pill. Years later, there was a theory that in Bruce Lee there was also found cannabis, which could have a fatal effect on him, but this was later denied by forensic scientist Donald Theare, who worked in Lee's case.

They circulated all kinds of theories, some reported him hanging out in orgy with his lovers, and he died because of the dill, others tied him to LDS, heroin, cocaine... Only his fans couldn't accept that someone so young and so in good health could die so suddenly.

A few years ago, another theory appeared in Bruce Lee's biography: A Life by Matthew A. Polly.

In that biography of 2018, he claimed that death would likely be free of all blame for the various pills and drugs, but something else. The brain's lust, he claims, could have caused the heat wave because Lee removed the sweat glands in the armpit a year before his death. But in 2022 another 49 years after the death of the martial arts legend, a new theory arose. A study called “who killed Bruce Lee” was conducted by several Spanish nephologists who questioned the cause of death. In their work, they claim that it is possible that Lee actually suffered from a specific type of kidney disease, that the cause of death was “kidney inability to extract excess water”. In their conclusion, they say that this “could have led to edema and death within hours if he swallowed more water than his body could have extracted through the urine”.

Goodbye with the martial arts legend was in Hong Kong, but his body was buried in Seattle. So decided his wife, who said about the media: “I personally have no responsibility for his death. The only thing important is that he's gone and he's not coming back in”.

A few years later, his son's body was buried near him. Brandon died young too, he was only 28 years old. He was shot at film shoots Vrana in 1993, after which he died.
