Russia claims it has invaded another settlement in Ukraine

Ukrainian officials have not responded immediately to Russia's claim that it has taken control of the village of Urozhane, which is one of several settlements located along the Moriy Yali River in the western city of Donjeck.
This progress is one of many advances that Russian forces have made along the 1,200 - mile [1,200 km] front line as Ukrainian troops face difficulties in holding back Russian soldiers.
Russia has begun its full - scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, and currently the worst fighting is under way near the mining city of Toretsk, north of Donjeck, and in the northern Casiv Jar.
After Russia launched an offensive in the Harkiev region in May of this year, Ukraine was forced to locate more military units to stabilise its defence. / REL
