Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama has said 4.5 million foreign visitors came to Albania in the first six months of this year.
He said through a Facebook post that means that it's +34 percent compared to last year.
“We have entered the peak of tourist flows, where together with private operators who daily present the Albanian bid, but also with the extraordinary responsibility of providing quality of service, as well as with municipalities and with all public institutions, we are in co-ordination for the success of the <x1 summer season.
“While some who struggle with facts and write that the beaches are empty, I tell them you don't be afraid to rejoice over Albania in spite of the government, that Albania is all the governments who visit and keep in mind that tourists are on beaches, in mountains, in cities, in Tirana, and of them wins the Albanian family economy, everywhere they violate and Albania's national economy is currently”, it has written.
