The Qos celebrates Kadare “The nation's great personality”, its “all-time creator” also remembers the controversy

Academy writer Rexhep Qosja has conveyed condolences for the life-sharing of the great writer Ismail Kadare. Using a writing on social networks, Qosja says that between it and Kadare “at times, there have been controversial judgments and assessments” as a result of their differing views on various cultural and literary issues in general.

“Ismail Kadare and I have had meetings when and when even family, conversation, assessment and mutual honours.

Understanding and mutual honor between Ismail Kadare and me largely would be based on my attitude towards him when he would move from Tirana to Paris.

Disadvisors who would criticize Ismail Kadare with the family who had left Homeland I'd reply: this is the attitude of statesman and creator Ismail Kadare and this attitude we should respect with our minds and hearts. I am sure that the fruits of the deportation of Ismail Kadare to Paris we will see and experience soon in our national culture”, Qosja writes.

In addition, Qosja Academy says, “Imail Kadare and I have written about each other's creativity from time to time. I've proposed translating his novel Castle into Serbian-Croat and I've written a very appreciative preface to his novel and creator Ismail Kadarena”.

“The families of Ismail Kadare and the other bereaved are comforted by the belief that the separation of Ismail Kadare from life is just a body separation”, he writes.
