Signing the protocol for implementing joint control was made in the presence of Kosovo and Albania's police and customs bodies.

In this case, the two ministers said that after this official inter-state act would create extenuating circumstances for residents of both sides of the border, and in particular the surrounding areas of the Qafe Morina border points, Qafe Prush, Shishtavec/Krusheva, Borje/Globocica and Orgost/Orchush.
