Even one day the legal deadline begins when President Vjosa Osmani can announce the date of parliamentary elections, but the President's Office did not disclose when precisely political parties will be invited for consultations about the election date. For the ruling party, Vetevendosje Movement The best period for elections is November. MPs Mefail Bajqinovci said discussions between power and opposition for elections could begin in August.

There is no cause, and it is being seen in every survey that is being shown that the opposition has no cause that may have the right to assess. All these initiatives that they took have been in vain and have succeeded in public opinion the whole opposition times everything sees mourning and darkness until the results show quite differently in international and local reports of how Kosovo has left it. I think this git is an election year because we're in fourth year and I think by the end of the year we'll have elections and we'll pass. Success. You don't know, but I don't think this year will be an election year if it's December-November, depending on how the parties deal with the president had better not go in cold winter and be somewhere with November”, Bajqinovci said.

An initiative for early elections failed long ago, in the absence of a consensus by opposition parties for the distribution of the Assembly.

In the PDK, they say going to the election depends on Prime Minister Kurti.

For us to go to early elections is the only option of this position because they have votes. we as opposition as we have votes and have two parties that are willing to sign the motion that as the PDK we have proposed to go to the polls. Going to choice depends on Kurt. Going to the polls is necessary, but the power of the vote dominates this decision and the will of the opposition is in our hands”, said Ariana Musliu from the PDK.

In the meantime, the AAK is more than willing to choose. Its chairman on a television show even invited Prime Minister Kurti to a confrontation to compare the work of their governments, stressing that he has been only two years in government.

On May 24th, Prime Minister Kurti had cut off his visit to London and from the airport came directly to the session for confrontation. There was expected to be debate that day on the 3rd anniversary of the government's work, at the AAK's invitation. In concluding the resolution, the government's dismissal was required. The debate was not held in the absence of opposition deputies (only 3 deputies were present). There was a shortage of Mr. Haradinaj. All winter and spring this year, they have been talking about this motion, from which they gave up May 24th. Now, AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj's invitation to the debate with Prime Minister Kurti has no way of comprehending otherwise the dissatisfaction with the severity of the emissions he participates in. Of course, the behaviour of “Prime Minister Kurti in the same television framework would change that”, Kryeziu said.

Meanwhile AAK deputies say the government led by Prime Minister Kurti is failed and that elections should be held as soon as possible.

We're late for this election because it was supposed to be early. After the election process because this country has more energy, will and desire to move the processes forward this government needs a change because it has proved to be a failure. The sooner we are prepared”, Shemsedin Dresey from the AAK said.

At the Kosovo Democratic Institute, meanwhile, they say there is still the possibility for early elections in the country, but according to them, this will not happen before September.

“Starting from July 25th to mid-November is the period when the president has the right to announce fair elections. After November 15th, respectively, if no agreement has been reached by then, there will be more different choices but will be fair. If there is readiness between the political spectrum between power and the pact an opposition party I believe there is still the possibility of early elections, but I don't believe this will happen before the end of the parliamentary session of the Parliament's work, respectively, before the autumn session begins during the second part of September until then I believe neither will the president initiate round of discussions to set the date of the”, Eugen Caukoli-Institis of Kosovo Democratic Institute said.

The last parliamentary elections were held on February 14th of 2021, in which the Vetevendosje Movement had received over 50% of the vote. / RTV21
