Payless miners for two months, the Trepca Board: We are working intensively to overcome difficulties

The public company “Shrapca Sh.A” has reacted to the difficult situation in which its miners are located, who have not received salaries for two months.

According to a communique by the company's leadership, the main cause of this situation is low production performance and accumulated debts.

The supervisory board, which has taken office this month, is committed to working closely with the management to implement an emergency action plan and develop continued communication with shareholders, respectively, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and workers. The goal is to ensure a lasting and long-term solution.

The company's “leadership understands the importance of asking miners and is working with the highest dedication to give the right answer, to resume the mine's work with the Trepca flotilla- Stan Targ and to stabilise the company's operations,” is further stressed.

According to the communiqué, the company's financial situation is burdened by low production performance, losses and accumulated debts.

The transition of the situation requires immediate reforms that bring operational and financial stability,” completes communiqué.
