Osmani meets with new UNICEF Kosovo chief

The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has met with UNICEF's new Kosovo chief, Veronica Vashchenkon.

It becomes known that at the meeting it has been discussed about continuing co-operation and the importance of efforts to improve the well-being and development of children in Kosovo.

President Osmani points out that partnership with U NICEF, it is important to implement programmes and policies that support development and inclusive child protection”.

“in this context, President Osmani noted efforts to access children to quality education and empower their welfare”, the presidency's announcement said.

On the other hand, Osmani and Vashchenko talked about projects in support of early child education, support of children with special needs, and the impact of climate change on children's health.
