Nussbaumer at a joint conference with Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca said it is important to normalise relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
We have also talked about complex relations between Kosovo and Serbia. Switzerland is concerned about rising tensions between the two countries. For the stable peace Swiss in the region and normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia is very important, therefore we support the EU-brokered dialogue”, Nusbaumer said.
He added that Switzerland will continue its security field commitments in Kosovo and the region, offering more than 200 thousand Swiss soldiers to KFOR.
Nusbaumer stressed that Switzerland is a supporter of Kosovo, and is proud of the Kosovo community integrated in our society.
He announced that during the visit to Kosovo, he will meet with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Foreign Minister Donika Grovall and other politicians.
