Murder of 18-year-old in Podujevo, even in retrial one minor gets sentenced to 10 years in prison and the other to 9

After declaring the indictment, family lawyer Fejzullahu has reacted, Tome Gashi, who said that with this act of conviction the two indictees have deliberately committed the murder.
The Constitutional Court of Pristina today has declared the case of the severe murder of 18-year-old Lulzim Feyzullahu as last time the Court has sentenced one to prison for 10 years and the other to prison for nine years. With this act has been confirmed once again that those who killed Luli acted in co-operation with each other and that the serious murder was deliberately committed by the full”, Gashi wrote.
By contrast, in the first trial, the Department to Mitur at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, on May 23rd, 2024 had declared a condemnation of two minors over the murder of 18-year-old in Podujevo. The first minor was sentenced to 10 years in prison, while the second minor was sentenced to 9 years in prison.
But the Court of Appeals on July 17, 2024, had turned the case into retrial.
The 18-year-old had died at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo in Pristina on January 20, 2024. The prosecution, originally initiated as “attempted assassination”, and then respelled to “grave murder”. The clash between the victim and two minors had occurred on January 15th.
According to the prosecution, the two minors had hit the 18-year-old man with a stick, causing bodily injury, with the result of these injuries taken, the victim had been sent to KKUKUK.
