Miftarian: President Must Return KPM Law to Parliament

Kosovo Institute for Justice Director Ehat Miftaraj has reacted following the adoption of the KPM and KKP Bill in the Assembly.

Miftaraj has written that the president must return this bill to the country.

The president of the Republic must use its constitutional right and return the KPM Law to the Parliament. There are many reasons to return the law to the Parliament. The law violates the democratic values of the Republic. The president must act and maintain the values and principles on which the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo is based.

Principles and values like freedom, democracy, equality, respect for human rights and freedoms and rule of law cannot be passed.
