Pahor said that “something markedly changed in Brussels, but I don't know why” and Les says that “appears that Pahor is the victim of bureaucracy”.
“We do not know how close he was to ensure the position of the mediator, he says Mr. Lajcak has invited him, but the decision ultimately belongs to the High Representative and the European Council. This does not rule out that Pahor will take office, of course, but this understands that we must first convince Borrell's successor, Kaya Kallas, on his merits”, Les said.
