The chairman of the United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK), Nundman Jasharaj, has asked the Ministry of Education to provide this year's textbooks with textbooks, sending textbooks to schools.
He had rejected last year's decision by Minister Arberie Nagavci that parents buy textbooks and then be repaid via the e-Kosovo platform.
The SBASK announced on Thursday that Jasharaj has met with Deputy Education Minister Taulant Kelmendi, with whom they discussed the teaching requirements and the possibility of their realisation.
The union has announced on Facebook that the top unionist has also called for increased coefyt for teachers and all requirements. In the communique, Kelmendi said he promised to examine them carefully.
The head of SBAHSK, Mr. Pumman Jasharaj, asked Kelmendi that such meetings between AugustI and Trade Union be more frequent because, according to him, the requirements of teachers can be met and the current problems in education resolved. Mayor Jasharaj requested that the textbooks supply be made this year by AugustI by sending textbooks to schools, as well as having new books for all primary and lower-level students, namely, class 1 to 9”, the communiqué says.
