The Western Nile's “Virus, which causes summer months' seasonal diseases, has led experts from the National Public Health Institute of Kosovo to increase readiness to prevent exposure. In Kosovo there are no reported cases of Western Nile Virus, but given that cases of this virus have been recorded in several European countries such as Spain, Italy, Greece and the region as well, I The KSHPK calls for citizens' caution and prevention of infection that is largely the result of bites by infected mosquitoes”, says an institute call.
