Eight people have suffered bodily injuries as a result of an accident that took place Sunday afternoon on the <x0c>Ibrahim Rugova” highway.
Police spokesman Daut Hoxha, who has stressed that four vehicles were involved in the accident, has confirmed the news.
“Around 18:40 on highway “Dr. Ibrahim Rugova” km-40 has caused a traffic accident with injuries. Four vehicles with local license plates have been involved. According to initial information, eight people were reported injured”, Hoxha told Dukagjin
Police have also appealed for care and respect of traffic regulations.
Such accident cases are often resulting fatally, so we appeal to drivers to be more careful and respect traffic regulations. Police with its unit are undertaking and will take rigorous measures against criminals who violate traffic regulations”, the police appeal said.
