Hamza following KKPM vote: This approach of government has brought Kosovo under sanctions

The candidate of the Democratic Party of Kosovo for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, has reacted after the government adopted bills contrary to EU recommendations.

Through a Facebook post, he said that according to his experience, every law was adopted only when it was harmonised with European standards and democratic practices.

According to him, adopting these two laws is absurd, and even this approach has put Kosovo under sanctions.

“Based on my long experience, every law we passed only when we harmonised it with European standards and best democratic practices. It is therefore absurd of its kind to adopt two laws yesterday in the Kosovo Assembly, contrary to EU recommendations and local and international organisations. This approach has brought Kosovo under sanctions. This approach is driving Kosovo off the road to EU and NATO integration”He said.
