EULEX: Monitoring situation in Kosovo, security of all communities remains our first priority

EULEX has said that this mission is being committed to the expressed demand of the first security response, either the Kosovo Police, in order to contribute to the preservation and improvement of public order and security.
“EULEX does all of this in co-ordination with Kosovo Police and KFOR, in line with the security response mechanism on three levels, where Kosovo police are the first security response, EULEX, second and KFOR third. The security of all communities in Kosovo remains our first priority, on the one hand, we are vigilant and willing to support the security of Kosovo and the local population, and on the other hand, we are committed to supporting Kosovo authorities, including the Kosovo Police”, said EULEX's response to Tanjug.
