The European Union has taken the decision to recognise the passports issued by Serbia's institutions and thus enable free movement in the Schengen Zone and the Kosovo Serbs, who are equipped with such documentation, also known as “coordinatorinacija”. Regarding this official Brussels action and what it means for Kosovo citizenship, LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has spoken.
Haziri says this is a response the Kurti Government is receiving for eight cases when it acted without co-ordination and with the reason it is extending sovereignty to northern Kosovo.
“In terms of abolishing visas for Kosovo Serbs with illegal passports, so it is when it acts unilaterally in eight cases as if for sovereign purposes and sends “threats to minorities that even pensions have endangered them and social aid, which is how to return now”, Haziri told Express.
LDK's number two says Kosovo policy failure every day is evening Kosovo and Serbia into its worst.
At the end of Haziri says Kosovo already has conditional reports, punitive measures, sequences, and that two Kosovo apps are still closed.
For the recognition of illegal passports issued by parallel institutions, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has also raised concerns, which such an issue has been addressed at the meeting with US Ambassador Jeff Houvenier.
Kosovo's top diplomat, Donika Gervalla-Schharz, at a media conference held Wednesday has been tough with the EU, saying such a decision leads to the wrong way. She has said it appears that there are acts in the EU that do not wish for the integration of minorities, but their division.
“As regards the issue of passports being released by Kosovo institutions, we have warned European partners. It's a decision that leads to the wrong path, and it makes you realize that some acts in the EU are interested in better integration of minorities, but work towards a division of them. We think it's wrong”, he declared Gervala on Wednesday in the conference for the media.
