Edita Tahiri: The EU recognised Serbian illegal passports since Kurti left North without sovereignty, in our time they were wrong.

Former chief negotiator Edita Tahiri says the European Union has violated the Brussels Agreement for Free Movement and has violated Kosovo's sovereignty confirmed by the International Justice Gykat, when it has decided to recognise the illegal passports issued by Serbia to local Kosovo Serbs.
Tahiri has said the blame in this regard is that the Kurti Government, which according to Tahiri, has failed to defend sovereignty in the north.
“The EU has violated Brussels' agreement on free movement, as well as violated Kosovo's legally confirmed state sovereignty by the International Court of Justice. But this harmful act of the EU has preceded the failure of Kurti Government to defend our state's sovereignty in the northern end of”, Edita Tahiri has declared for Express Journal.
Tahiri further has said that past governments and themselves as chief negotiator had extended sovereignty to the north, placing the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, including Kosovo authorities at border points and also the integration of local Serbs and the elimination of parallel structures. However, Tahiri says that today the Querty Government has failed sovereignty in the north achieved very hard through Brussels agreements.
The former chief of the negotiating team, says that today under Kurti's rule there are Kosovo institutions, there is increased presence of KFOR and that only a few mayors remain, but according to it without municipal structures.
“Kurti Government instead of holding these institutions in the north and defending sovereignty, today none of the institutions exist in the north, so there is no sovereignty, what's up to KFORT's presence, then northern Serbs have abandoned Kosovo's indicators, boycotted local elections in the north, so we have no municipal structures operating, nothing there, no mayoral heads, but without the conuncial structure”, Tahiri has declared.
Tahiri says the EU, given such a reality in the north without Kosovo sovereignty, has made the decision to abolish visas for local Serbs through recognition of illegal passports issued by Serbia.
Tahiri says there has been efforts by the EU to recognise illegal passports even at the time other parties ruled, but says they dared, since it says governments had made it a legal and practical fact of sovereignty in the north at the time.
Tahiri finally says Kurti Government has closed its mouth and is speaking, since, as Tahiri puts it, internationals “have said” The situation that has failed in the north as regards sovereignty.
“I think the EU seeing reality in the north without Kosovo's sovereignty in response made that decision. In fact, there was a tendency from the EU even in the time of our governance to try to recognise illegal passports in the north but has not dared to make such a decision because in our governments we had made law and practice sovereignty in the north. This government of Kurt silenced this harmful EU action because she was aware of the failure of sovereignty in the north! I'm convinced that the EU partners have told them this sad reality”, that Tahiri concluded.
Regarding this EU decision, there have been reactions from state leaders. President Osmani has also addressed it as a meeting concern with US Ambassador Jeff Havenier. While Kosovo's top diplomat, Donika Gervalla-Schwarz, has said they have warned the EU that such a decision does not work on the good track, but according to her, it seems that in the EU there are acts that want the division of minorities in Kosovo and not their integration.
