US to begin deploying long-range weapons to Germany

“The episoded applications” of the United States are in preparation for the long-term station of such capabilities that will include SM-6, Tomahawk navigation missiles and hypersonic development weapons that have a greater range than current capabilities in Europe, the two countries said.
Falling in line with signatories, Germany, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic destroyed their missiles in the 1990s, to be later followed by Slovakia and Bulgaria.
United States withdrew from Treaty INF in 2019, saying Moscow was violating the deal, citing Russia's development of the 9M729 land-launched cruise missile, known in NATO as SSC-8.
The Kremlin repeatedly denied the prosecution and then imposed a mortorium on its development of missiles previously banned by the treaty IMF ballistics, land-based and cross-ray missiles ranging from 500km to 5,500km.
At the end of June, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow should resume production of secondary and shorter nuclear missiles after the United States brought similar missiles to Europe and Asia. /Telegraphy/
