The journalist, Arsim Lani, has reacted through an exciting writing on the social facebook after Faton Hajriz's death.
Lan says he had continued contact with him even while he was on the run.
He says in his post that Hayriz had plans for life and that he had been released from prison on weekends and made him understand what he's missing out there.
A prison sentence, during weekends, had made him realize how much he had lost for those years behind bars and how much others had moved forward.
He had created a great faith of me as a coward, since the prison interview with him, and he spoke to me on the phone about things that only the family could talk to. We even talked to him on the run. We also agreed on an interview, but we expected the moment to set off “in a European country somewhere. He spoke and felt sorry for parents who had faced difficult situations because of his conduct in and out of prison. He felt guilty about their health burden. He talked a lot about his need for a family. In each phone call he talked about that bride who will be the mother of his children. On the day I learn that my bride is pregnant, I return from running to prison”, one day when I repeated my heartfelt request to submit to” in his post.
