The Kosovo Journalists' Association has been alarmed with the arrest and escort to media cameraman police “Justice Vow”, Arian Tahiri.
According to the AGK report, Tahiri has been associated with the journalist Alberta Hashani, conducting an investigation into allegations of misuse of office during the official schedule of several prosecutors.
Tahiri was shooting at a public bar when he was stopped shooting from local workers and at least one prosecutor who was there. The prosecutor has invited the police to the bar, and until the police have arrived, cameraman Tahiri has been held violently at the bar by the workers, robbing him of illegal freedom.
After the police arrived at the local police, police officials have confiscated the cameraman's phone as a tool of work, which is prohibited by law and escorted him to the police station for statements”, said the AGK's response.
The AGK has strongly condemned the behaviour of the Kosovo Police and has called for Tahiri's immediate release, as well as the release of labour tools and public clarification of the incident.
