At 1: 00 p.m., Kosovo police have encountered a person who allegedly has been placing some pamphlets on walls and various parts of the country's north.
He has confirmed this for Periscope, deputy director of the Mitrovica region Veton Elshani, adding that the suspect has committed criminal work “inciting hatred”. While adding that there are a total of five suspects, where one of them has been arrested, three others have been released and one is still being interviewed by law bodies.
Elshani added that all persons suspected of criminal activity “inciting hatred” are of minor age.
At around 0100 a.m., a person is facing a few pamphlets that have led to the initial inciting hatred. This person at the prosecutor's order has been detained and four more have been identified so far. Three of them were interviewed, are material evidence supporting the hate promotion work, and we are currently working towards interviewing the 5th person in this case, he added.
Besides the first person to be arrested, 3 others after the interview have been released in regular procedure. All persons identified or interviewed (including the detainee) are minor”, Elshani has declared.
