As the chairman of the Commission for Competing School Texts, Merita Januzaj, was interviewed on the commission, was asked by MP Kastrati about offers that publishing houses have offered to negotiate prices for textbooks, which said its answers result in the MAST of 4 million and 316 thousand people's plans for textbooks, for 514m euros broke negotiations with publishing houses and went through the new subvention method with 11m euros in losses.
According to the B27 tender file, it has been scheduled for 4 million and 316 thousand and 885 of which publishing houses have offered 5 million 862 and 743 euros. This practice is common, publishing houses offer higher. But they dropped it to 4 million, 882 thousand. So of the 4 million and 316 grand that the MAST itself planned for 514 000 euros broke the negotiations with publishing houses and went through the new subvention method of 11 million and 670 thousand euros, this is never justified by Nagavci either by witness”, Kastrati has declared.
According to Kastrati, the right would be to continue with the old method of subvention for children on September 1st, rather than with the new, more lost method.
It would be much better for 514 000 euros to proceed with the old method of subvention and come up on September 1st children's books than with this new method. It's been a huge chaos, on September 1st of last year 80% of the students didn't have the complete” books, he followed.
As the chairman of the Commission for the Negotiation of School Texting, Merita Januzaj, showed offers that offered publishing houses alone, and said that the publishing house “Dukagini “of “had 4 million and 260 thousand and 902.56 and dropped to 3 million and 459 thousand and 852.30, so 1 million less”.

After textbooks are selected and appreciated then, the assigned department applies and the tender opens. Our job is to lower the price as much as it can. We've had meetings with publishing houses to lower the price. The price has been 4 million and 300 thousand, while the offer in publishing houses has been around 5 million. We've been trying to lower offers and have lowered the total offer of publishing houses by over a million. Of the 5 million and 800 thousand we have finished at 4 million and 800 thousand euros”, Januzaj said.
