The Kosovo Journalists' Association reports it is deeply concerned with a series of threatening videos, mainly on the Tik Tok platform, against some journalists and media in recent days.
According to AGK, threats have come about reports of Faton Hajriz, escaped from prison in Kosovo, and reportedly killed in Serbia.
“Cak of attacks has become mostly Ermal Panduri, author of the “Debat Plus” at RTV Dukagojini, and Vehbi Kaitazi, leader of Paparaci, and panelist in Klan Kosova. Also, with insulting and threatening messages have been presented the photos of Jehona Bajrami of Klan Kosova and Doruntina Bylykbashi of TV Dukajni. Videos have the description “Faton Hajrizi assassins”, and accuse the media and journalists of contributing to events in Serbia, which led to Hajrizi's murder”, AGK reports.
Since many of the threats come from outside Kosovo, The AGK expects security authorities to co-operate with their partners abroad to reveal the perpetrators of life threats to journalists.
