A person aged about 64 has remained dead as a result of an accident in Prizren.
Police spokesman for the Prizren region Vesel Gashi has confirmed the news, which suggested the victim was crossing the road by bicycle at the pedestrian crossing.
“Around 5:40 p.m. police have admitted to a tip that a bicycle was hit at the pedestrian crossing on the Rja” road.
The emergency was sent to the regional hospital, and shortly after the injuries were sustained, the victim has passed”, Gashi told Blic newspaper.
On the other hand, Gashi announced that the driver of the car was arrested in connection with the event, while the lifeless body was sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine.
