Got 200 euro bribe, Mitrovica municipality official arrested

Police have said the suspect is B.S. Born 1961.

Police investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK), respectively, the Regional Unit for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption ( One HKEK (HEK) ♫ Mitrovice South, after a tip (denonym) about the suspicion that the suspect B.S., the 1961-born Kosovo male, in quality of the official municipal person, has asked for bribes from a citizen to arrange documentation for the benefit of a GANDI associated with re-addiction.
Police investigators from NERKEK-Mitrovica South, in co-ordination with the prosecutor, at 04.07.2024 around 12:20, in the square, Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica has arrested the suspect in French, after the same man received bribes in the 200 euro amount.
The investigation into the case has been carried out with the application of secret investigative measures and for the development of the operation, police have had warrants issued by the Mitrovica Foundation Court.
In this regard, the bribery case has been initiated, the prosecutor of the case, who has assigned the police detention measure of 48 hours, has been announced.
