It's been 13 years since the death of a hero cop, Enver Zymer.
Zymer was injured in the head by a sniper bullet during a police action in the north of the country, held on the morning of July 25th 2011. Shooting at the top of the post, the policeman died after 18 hours, on 26 July, testifying to his country, in a police uniform, as he had once held the Kosovo Liberation Army uniform.
Enver Zymer was then proclaimed Kosovo's hero by then President Atifete Jahjaga, with the motivation “for the bravery and devotion shown up to the sacrifice for establishing rule of law in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo”.
