French President Emmanuel Macron will also host Ukrainian president in Paris on June 7th, Elyse Palace announced.
The leaders of 25 states and governments, along with dozens of World War II veterans, will be gathered in Normandy to honour nearly 160,000 troops from Britain, the United States, Canada and other countries who landed on June 6, 1944.
Beden's state visit will enable “close co-operation” between France and the US for global crises, on the eve of international events.
Meanwhile, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Melon said Zelensky will participate in the 7th Group summit of major economies (G7), which will be held from 13 June to 15 June in the southern Italian region of Poulias.
Beden will also participate in the summit, the White House announced.
During the 13 June and 14 June event in Pulia, Beden and G7 leaders will discuss a series of more pressing global issues, including steadfast support for Ukraine”, said White House spokeswoman Karina Jean-Pierre.
The G7 leaders will take steps to promote economic security and sustainability”, the statement said.
She added that Beden and G7 leaders will redouble their commitment to support developing countries that want to invest in their future”. / REL/
