Victims of sexual violence during the war, Osmani: We must bring the authors to justice

President Vjosa Osmani has said Kosovo's commitment is steadfast to bring to justice those who committed sexual violations during the last war.

On platform X, she distributed a video of hers while she was talking to the UN.

On this International Day for Eliminating Sex Violence in Conflict, we continue to honour the courage and endurance of those who have endured untold horrors under Milosevic's genocide regime. These brave men and women remind us of our collective duty to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war”.

“Today, we see survivors in Kosovo transforming their pain into powerful action, inspiring countless others to seek justice. Our commitment is steadfast: We must bring the authors to justice and ensure that such atrocities never repeat themselves! ”, Osmani said.
