At this meeting, they have discussed the latest security situation, including KFOR's activities under its mandate by the UN, and the support KFOR provides for EU facilitated dialogue.
“They exchanged opinions on recent security trends, including KFOR activities under its UN mandate and its support for the EU-brokered dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to provide a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all communities living in Kosovo at any time and impartially. KFOR is the third security reacter, behind the Kosovo Police and the EU's mission for the Rule of Law (EULEX), with which we work in close co-ordination, respectively, said the report.
