The United States' stance on dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has not changed. We continue to strongly support EU facilitated dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, as a way to achieve a normal, peaceful and productive relationship between the two countries”, this spokesperson for Gazette Express has said.
He has added that the two countries' future is in European institutions and that normalising relations between the two states through the process facilitated by the EU is the only way forward.
From the UN, they have suggested that they expect Kosovo and Serbia to respect and implement agreements reached without delay and preconditions.
“We expect Kosovo and Serbia to respect and implement all their dialogue commitments fully and without delays or preconditions. The long-term goal of the United States' policy is a mutually recognised end between Kosovo and Serbia”, this spokesperson for Gazeta Express Love.
US Ambassador to Pristina Jeffrey Hovenier, in a organisation of Economist Impact, has said the finality between Kosovo and Serbia should be closed with mutual recognition and nothing less. While Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill, questioned whether he thinks Serbia should condition EU entry with recognition of Kosovo, has said it is of such opinion and that there will be normalisation between the two states, as the European Union is demanding.
While commenting on statements to the ambassador of Hill, from Brussels they have declared Thursday that Serbia cannot enter the EU without normalising the report with Kosovo.
