He said there seems to be no willingness from Belgrade for political normalisation, meanwhile, added that Kosovo “has done nothing” for the establishment of association.
From the professor's perspective, there is no better alternative than a peaceful report between Belgrade and Pristina. Neighbors do not have the privilege of ignoring if they want security and prosperity. There has been progress in implementing the technical agreement since 2013, but there has been almost no such thing as achieving normalisation. Serbia has done whatever it can to prevent recognition of Kosovo. Pristina has also done nothing to establish association. It is important to know that the agreements apply to both sides. Technical dialogue was much more productive than the current political dialogue. There seems to be no readiness for political normalisation from Belgrade. Even if Belgrade fulfills its obligations under the 2013 agreement, I would like Pristina to do so. But it won't happen in the current political conditions”, He said.
Today, nine months after the last meeting, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, will meet in Brussels.
