She has been asked about Kosovo's failure to membership in the Council of Europe and has said Kosovo has met all conditions in April 2024 and that the rest is political.

We have said that Kosovo has met all preconditions for membership. This is where we are now. We're working hard with the ambassadors, I just got back from Strasbourg. Kosovo's foreign minister has said it is true that Kosovo needs to meet the conditions for membership to have equal opportunities with other states and says visa liberalisation is one of the examples.
“I believe not only Lithuania, but most members favour Kosovo membership. Without wanting to speak for details, I assure you that this is the message I have received from the majority, that Kosovo belongs to the Council of Europe. It is true that Kosovo must overcome conditions so that we can have the same chances with others. Visa liberalisation is an example for this. Not only Lithuania and the Baltic countries, or neighbours, but many European countries think that Kosovo is a state where European principles are the essence of our state”, she has said.
