Kosovo has yet to submit a full investigation report concerning the Zvecan Banjska attack, European Union spokesman Peter Stano has said.
As he was asked by reporters about Serbia's sanction for this attack, he has said this cannot be done without having full results of the investigation.
“About the investigation (for Banjska). Initially, the investigation must be conducted by Kosovo authorities. If you are referring to the incident in Banjska, September 24th, this is something that happened on Kosovo's territory, and Kosovo authorities are responsible for investigating and offering a full investigation report. That hasn't happened yet, so we can't continue without the results of the” investigation, Stano said.
He has said that this report, whether or not, has not yet been submitted to them.
At once after the attack and days, weeks and months later, we have made clear our position on what we expect from the two sides, both Kosovo and Serbia, when it comes to possible participation or supporting this horrific Serb attack. Again all this must be the subject of investigation, and the findings will be included in the final report, which is probably not yet completed or at least, made available to us by this stage”, Stano has followed.
