The United States is placed on the list of sanctions of 300 new business subjects, including a Russian company based in Belgrade.
According to the US Treasury Department page, the company <x0 is also on the list. BA SSIRE GROUP DOO”, which has headquarters in Serbia.
The company was founded in February 2023 and engaged in the vast trade of computers, computer equipment and software.
The director and owner of the company are Russian national Nikolai Levin.
The Treasury's explanation says the aim of sanctions is to deny Russia access to products and services needed to preserve military production for war in Ukraine.
Among the sanctioned subjects are companies from China, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey.
At the moment, more than 4,000 Russian subjects and individuals are under US sanctions in order to stop the flow of money and weapons towards Russia.
The sanctions were announced before US President Joe Biden arrived in Italy for a meeting of G7 leaders.
G7 countries, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Great Britain and the United States will talk about how to use the benefits of Russian frozen assets in the West to help Kiev financially. /rel
