Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, has reacted to the Kurti Government for the reactions this institution made in the direction of the QUINT] countries, The EU and OSCE.
In a post in '{0}'X, Rohde quoted the EC's distinguished lawyers' report: “This way of proceeding is not in line with the rule of the law and is likely to further undermine confidence between the Serb community and government institutions”.
Rohde said the EU, the OSCE and the CoE are organisations in which Kosovo tries to become a member.
He said that QUINTUE, EU and O The SEU, they're not here to punish but to support.
“After the government's response to Quinn's statement EU/O The SEU for expropriation, let me quote from the EC's report of prominent lawyers: “This way of proceeding is not in line with the rule of law and is likely to further undermine confidence between the Serb community and government institutions. “The EU, the OSCE and the CoE are organisations in which Kosovo tries to become a member. To continue with this, it would help if our joint counsel was considered. We're not here to punish, but to support”, he wrote Rohde.
Five days ago the government of Kosovo has reacted to the states of the QUINTï, which disagreed with the Government of Kosovo about the decision to expropriate in northern Kosovo.
Government announcement reportedly expresses regret for the Declaration of states of QUINT, EU and O The SEU concerning the 30 May decision on expropriation of real estate in several municipalities north of the Republic of Kosovo.
CUINTTY States, European Union Office in Kosovo, and O The SEU on the same day had come out in response to the Kosovo Government's 30 May decision to expropriate more than 100 land parcels in Serb majority municipalities, for which they have expressed regret over the decision, as they say it is contrary to the law.
In this joint statement by QUINT, the European Union Office in Kosovo, as well as O The SEU, it said, regrets the decision made by the Kosovo government on 30 May to finalise the expropriation of more than 100 land parcels in majority Serb municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Some of our missions had earlier shared with the Government the assessments of international judicial experts, including the European Union for Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo, indicating that the government violated its laws and regulations due to procedural and technical shortcomings during the expropriation process. We note that Kosovo's judicial system has identified similar legal concerns with the preliminary decision of expropriation, which the Government has not yet addressed. While some of the property of the applicant was removed from the final decision of expropriation, we regret that the Kosovo government did not expect all open judicial procedures to be fully tried before making that decision.”, it was said among other things in this response.
