It becomes known that elections that took place over four days are the largest transnational vote in the world, with about 360 million EU citizens being asked to give their votes to elect 720 members of the European Parliament.

And reportedly, polls envision historic victories for radical right-wing right-wing parties.
Such a result could change the balance of power in the single democraticly elected EU institution and give right-wing forces more influence than ever in EU policies.
It will also be understood who takes over European institutions in Brussels, including the Commission and the Council, with elections set to promote a race for key EU posts.
So far, polls have placed the centre-right CDU party at the helm of Germany and the right-wing Freedom Party FP finished in Austria.
The Dutch electorate voted on June 6th, with the right-wing PVVV party emerging as the biggest winner based on political exit.
Otherwise, the voices have been damaged by violence after the Danish prime minister carried out an attack in Copenhagen on Friday 7 June shortly after a campaign.
Slovak media have also reported preliminary results suggesting that Slovakia's social-liberal advances have defeated Prime Minister Robert Fico's populist Smer party.
