MP PDK, Hisen Berisha, has demanded President Vjosa Osmani's resignation today.
He says that in these important and difficult moments for our country, it is necessary to make wise and bold decisions to protect Kosovo's integrity and sovereignty, citing the establishment of association.
“ (Ref. The link to comment, from the dialogue process, now the government of Prime Minister Kurti has accepted association as a community of Serbian municipalities, with the statute granting the status of territorial and political autonomy with executive competencies, a step that, along with the 7th point of the Franco-German Plan for the extregurity of religious objects, is considered a serious threat to our country's territorial integrity and unity. The move conflicts with Kosovo's national interests and poses a major danger to our future as sovereign and independent states. For the sake of Kosovo and to preserve the fundamental principles on which our state is built, I propose that you, President, offer your resignation. This act would serve as a clear and powerful message against accepting association and would show that you are not part of this policy that endangers the future of our country”, Berisha wrote.
Full letter:
Your Honor.
In these important and difficult moments for our country, it is imperative that we make wise and courageous decisions to protect Kosovo's integrity and sovereignty. With this letter, I want to make an important and urgent proposal that relates to the current political situation and actions of Albin Kurti's government.
(Ref.
This act would serve as a clear and powerful message against accepting association and would show that you are not part of this policy that endangers the future of our country.
If you do not take this bold step, you will be considered accomplices in the process, especially after sending the letter from Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla to the EU Council of Ministers, which can be interpreted as a support for these government actions.
To protect national interests and show your commitment to Kosovo, it is vital that you distance yourself from these decisions and take the step of resignation. This would be a patriotic act and a clear testimony to your commitment to the sovereignty and integrity of our country.
With respect and concern for Kosovo's future,
Hisen Berisha, deputy of the Kosovo Republic Assembly.
